“Between that half dozen we count four of Resident Advisor’s current top 50 DJs in the world, founding members of three of the most important record labels in UK electronic music and two of the most celebrated producers going, responsible for an innumerable number of defining club tracks over the past decade; collectively, it makes for a ridiculously impressive bill.”

dollop NYE press release, sent 30/12/13 on various mailers. Full script below:

“Just a couple of days remain till the biggest night of the year descends, and dollop are primed to celebrate the end of 2013 with a bang by staging one of London’s best and most exciting New Years Eve parties. The event has been tipped by The Guardian, Time Out, Fact Magazine & many more as the capital’s top pick for NYE.

After last year’s sold-out debut, historical venue the Troxy will again play host to dollop’s end-of-year event. With a heavyweight line-up of 14 artists, dollop boasts one of the strongest bills in the country for what looks to be another massive NYE party.

Room 1 sees the following DJs touch down, in alphabetical order: Ben UFO, Jackmaster, Joy Orbison, Loefah, Oneman and house/techno veteran, as well as recent jungle revivalist under his Special Request alias, Paul Woolford. Between that half dozen we count four of Resident Advisor’s current top 50 DJs in the world, founding members of three of the most important record labels in UK electronic music and two of the most celebrated producers going, responsible for an innumerable number of defining club tracks over the past decade; collectively, it makes for a ridiculously impressive bill.

That’s not all by any means: recently announced to host Room 2 is South London’s celebrated night Boxed. The resurgence of instrumental grime has been heralded as “one of 2013’s most exciting developments” by Resident Advisor, and we are pleased to have Logos, a man behind one of the year’s most acclaimed debuts, heading the bill. Joining him will be frequent collaborator Mumdance, as well as scene kingpin Slackk, plus Oil Gang, Mr Mitch and of course dollop’s resident DJs.

dollop has assembled without doubt one of the most impressive line-ups in London to see out the year and ring in the new in the best way possible. We are on our final release with a very small amount of tickets left – best to get in quick if you don’t want to be counting down in the cold. See you there!”
