Actually really, really nice

Review: Willie Burns

“There are no sub-3m amorphous abstractions to be found, nor eviscerating sheets of noise, nor motorik rhythms. The mixtape as a whole is devoid of color, an abandoned lab in a desolate wasteland where source material has been siphoned off and set to curdle under flickering lights. That Land vs Air‘s physical release comes via Belfast-based cassette emporium Sex Lies Magnetic Tape is apt, a perfect format to airlock the caustic experiments that fill the first half.”
